republic day camp (rdc)

before rdc group headquarters have face igc(inter-group competition)
ncc republic day camp culmination of ncc training activities. rdc held @ garrison parade ground, delhi cantt 01 29 jan. 1850 selected ncc cadets 17 directorates attend camp. camp inaugurated vice president of india , culminates prime minister s rally on 28 jan.
during camp visit of raksha mantri, cabinet ministers, chief minister of delhi, 3 service chiefs , various state ministers/vips organised.
during rdc, various competitions conducted amongst 17 ncc directorates decide champion directorate award of prime minister s banner. competitions keenly contested in various events such national integration awareness presentation, drill, line & flag area, cultural programs i.e. (group song, group dance & ballet), best cadet of senior division (boys) , senior wing (girls) in each service - army, navy & air discipline , best cadet boys , girls each junior wing. aero modelling , ship modelling conducted during rdc.

combined annual training camps (catc)

in c.a.t.c., boys(senior & junior division)and girl cadets(senior & junior wing)of particular ncc unit participate in 10-day camp. classes conducted per given syllabus wherein aspects of ncc training taught once again. camp acts refresher training cadets , trained in basic skills of survival , emergencies besides other topics. taught skills pertaining wing e.g., naval cadet trained in boat-rowing, oaring, semaphore, etc. activity in camp dogwatch wherein 2 cadets stay on sentry duty 2 hours @ time given time of day. caught sleeping, during late night or morning shifts, or otherwise missing duty severely reprimanded or penalized. cadets introduced weapons such .22 caliber rifle.

national integration camp (nic)

nic propagate national integration among cadets , society. best cadets in drills , march sent represent states. camp considered sslc , higher secondary course(+2) grace mark these camps conducted on india basis , bridge cultural gap among various states of india. in addition, there 6 special nics conducted @ leh, nagrota (j&k), chakabama (ner, nagaland), srinagar, lakshadweep , port blair.

advanced leader ship camp conducted in many places. in camp officers give cadets training ssb screening , entrance.

army attachment camp

these camps conducted ncc in collaboration indian army, willing cadets attached specific regiments undergoing training period of 10–15 days. in camp, cadets trained instructors of particular regiment, in military tactics including day/night warfare & familiar weaponry.

hiking , trekking camps

they full of adventure, cadets want experience adventurous must attend them. create memories never forgotten. cadet wants participate, have stamina walking. camp full of adventure.

thal sainik camp (tsc)

the tsc 12 days camp conducted in delhi every year in late autumn, in cadets selected 17 directorates (30+3 sd/jd , sw/jw cadets each directorate), selection procedure conducting 3 pre-tsc camps each of 10–12 days in week interval. selected cadets sent tsc represent respective directorates in following competitions:

obstacle course - in obstacles includes 6-feet wall, zig-zag, double ditch, balancing, 3-feet bar, left bar, right bar, incline, etc. done after wearing full tactible gear rifle.
firing - consists of 2 types - shooting (grouping, snap-shooting & application)& advance firing (standing, kneeling & lying positions). done standard .22 caliber rifle @ range of 25 meters & 50 meters.
map reading - includes working prismatic compass, service protector & map. conducted in day or @ night finding north , grid positions & own position , of landscapes @ unknown location in cadets dropped.
home nursing - consists of medical activities, how aid & heal soldier in war.

the directorates marks inspection of respective accommodations, dressing , extracurricular activities inspecting squad. arranging numbers, winning directorate gets cup decorations director general, ncc on closing day of tsc. 2 concurrent tscs conducted @ rd parade ground, delhi cantt every year. i.e. s d / jd boys , sw / jw girls. 640 boy , 640 girls cadets take part in camps

vayu sainik camp (vsc)

this centrally organised camp organised air wing cadets. cadets directorates attend camp. vsc conducted in month of october @ jodhpur.

nau sainik camp (nsc)

this centrally organised naval camp conducted annually selected naval wing cadets. boat pulling, semaphore, tent pitching, drill competitions main attraction of camp. held @ naval maritime academy (namac) @ visakhapatnam started held @ karwar 2014.

all india yachting regetta (aiyr)

this centrally organised naval camp conducted annually selected naval wing cadets. yachting (sailing) main attraction of camp. held @ naval base ins-chilka @ odisha.

rock climbing camps (rcc)

eight rock climbing camps held each year expose cadets basics of elementary rock climbing , inculcate spirit of adventure amongst cadets. 4 of these camps held @ gwalior in madhya pradesh , other 4 camps @ nayyardam near trivandrum in kerala.

naval wing activities

naval wing syllabus common both boys , girls. during sea training naval subjects seamanship, navigation, communication, gunnery, damage control , ship safety taught cadets. swimming, scuba diving , wind surfing other interesting activities.

air wing activities

gliding, micro lite flying( zenair ch 701 stol ac) , attachment training airforce stations/establishments main activities. 100 pipistrel virus sw 80 on order.

youth exchange programme

the aim of yep country-to-country exchange of cadets belonging ncc/equivalet govt/youth organisations of friendly countries , participation in various activities , appreciation of each other s socio-economic , cultural realities.
