twinworld platform game fantasy setting. character, called ulopa, prince , sole survivor of cariken royal family. ulopa must travel through 23 levels find stolen amulet , confront evil wizard maldur.


the 23 levels set in 5 different worlds : normal rural landscape, forest, medieval-style fortress, swamps , temple of evil wizard maldur. first 4 worlds have 5 levels each, , maldur s temple has three, last being special boss level.


the gameplay in twinworld simple , similar other platform games 1980s-1990s era. game involves jumping between different platforms , shooting magical bouncy balls @ enemies, come in form of various evil-looking fantasy animals. complete level, ulopa must find piece of stolen amulet , go through exit door.


twinworld has been compared super mario bros., similarities superficial , limited aspect of jumping between platforms. tunes in twinworld composed haiko ruttmann.
