wms has number of activities on marketing , business includes not limited seminars, research, publications, academic courses , programs.


annual summit

the flagship event of organization annual meeting on marketing, held every year since 2012. first summit held in dhaka, bangladesh, on march 1–3, 2012 (wms 2012). three-day summit inaugurated sheikh hasina, prime minister of people’s republic of bangladesh , brought 60 global experts , attracted 4,000 participants. speakers america, europe, asia , africa representing universities, research agencies, multi-national business organizations, united nations bodies, , financial institutions discussed pressing issues, including marketing, business , economics impacting poverty, health , environment. of experts presented papers summit philip kotler, syed saad andaleeb, mitchell habib, laura ries, abraham koshy, alan andreasen, gerald hastings, don schultz, hermann simon, hermawan kartajaya, craig lefebvre, imad baalbaki , milton kotler. wms 2012 closed formulation of dhaka declaration .


the second summit (wms 2013) held in kuala lumpur on september 28–30, 2013.


the third summit (wms 2014) held in tokyo, japan on september 24–25, 2014.


the fourth summit (wms 2015) held in tokyo, japan on october 13–14, 2015.


journal: better world

better world biannual journal of wms (january , july). purpose of journal source of thought-provoking original ideas business managers, academicians , researchers working in areas of marketing , economics alleviating poverty. wms encourages articles covering diverse areas, industries, geographic locations , cultures focus on such areas research, strategy, communication, pricing, distribution, sales, , leadership. articles should based on research analysis, theoretical insights, , practical experience ideas presented there can implemented.

the summit emphasizes need research , higher education undertaking innovative projects , thereby addressing current , future challenges poverty alleviation , discrimination. poverty leads ultimate denial of human right , threatens world peace.


with view initiate global movements through marketing strategies, wms has undertaken incubator concept of carrying out research on health, food, climate change , education in different countries , developing marketing model in line millennium development goals (mdgs). main objective of incubator approach formulate conceptual framework driven marketing principles , implement findings in real world scenario. each incubator have mix of partners contribute both theoretical point of view practical point of view.


the research wing of wms actively collaborates world’s leading experts universities, business chambers, think tanks , other research-based organizations developing business , academic model.
