the bungalow common type of home built in irish countryside. during celtic tiger years of late 20th century, single-storey bungalows declined type of new construction, , residents built more two-storey or dormer bungalows. there trend in both republic of ireland , northern ireland of people moving rural areas , buying own plots of land. these plots large; so, one-storey bungalow quite practical, particularly retired people.
