yousee broadband

yousee has offered internet via cable television since building return path (using docsis) on network in years 2000-2002. had been marketed under name webspeed, re-branded yousee broadband in 2007.


today yousee continues serve broadband consumers either via coaxial cable, optical fiber or through old cobber telephone lines (dsl).


prior april 2016 customers had subscribe @ least basic tv channel package broadband on cable. requirement removed after parent company tdc forced authorities allow other broadband companies serve broadband consumers using tdc/yousee infrastructure without consumer having have tv package yousee.


in 2012 yousee began offering 100 mbit/s download speeds. 4 years later, in 2016, 300 mbit/s introduced top download speed. in 2016, yousee started nationwide upgrade of broadband infrastructure in partnership huawei. upgrade enables gigabit download speeds deploying docsis 3.1 nationwide, , expected completed end of 2017. later in 2016 upgrade of cobber broadband network announced in partnership nokia enabling 300 mbit/s speeds (using vplus) depending on distance between household , nearest cabinet. on 8 may 2017 yousee began offering 1000 mbit/s download speeds in areas docsis 3.1 had been deployed.

in docsis 3.1 areas, customers can pay have upload speeds increased making following speeds available:

yousee tv

on 15 september 2009 yousee decided unencrypt digital tv distribution, under marketing name yousee clear. however, parallel analogue distribution maintained customers tv sets unable receive digital signals. @ time yousee distributed channels in both mpeg-2 , mpeg-4 in april 2013, yousee stopped simulcasting focus on mpeg-4 only. name yousee clear used until 1 july 2014 renamed yousee tv.


the analogue tv signal switched off on february 9, 2016. in 2017, yousee switched off cable radio services, had been used redistribute several danish , foreign fm radio stations.


today, yousee broadcasts digital television on coaxial cable , optical fiber using dvb-c , mpeg-4. yousee offers iptv on coaxial cable, optical fiber , cobber telephone cables.


the main products 3 packages: basic, medium , full. channels can bought separately if consumer subscribes @ least basic package.


as of march 2017, yousee offers 103 channels, of 66 in hd.

yousee mobile

parent company tdc had in 2011 acquired mobile virtual network operator onfone @ time using network of telenor. after acquisition, onfone switched tdc mobile network, kept separate brand until december 2013 onfone re-branded yousee mobile.


the yousee mobile service uses network of parent company, tdc group. network covers 99.5% of denmark using 2g, 3g , 4g.


it announced in september 2013 huawei complete overhaul of 3g , 4g network infrastructure starting on 1 march 2014 , lasting 6 years.


yousee mobile broadband

using 3g , 4g network of parent company tdc, yousee offers mobile broadband included data ranging 10 gb 500 gb.


yousee telephony

tdc kabel tv started offering ip telephony in 2005 branding cabletalk. re-branded yousee telefoni in 2007 part of overall yousee name change.


yousee continues offer fixed telephony services using ip traditional landline.


retail stores

yousee operates 44 stores around country, after re-branding of tdc stores yousee brand began in march 2016.
