avchd lite

avchd lite subset of avchd format announced in january 2009, limited 720p60, 720p50 , 720p24 , not employ multiview video coding. avchd lite cameras duplicate each frame of 25fps/30fps video acquired camera sensor, producing 720p50/720p60 bitstream compliant avchd , blu-ray disc specifications. of 2013, avchd lite seems have been replaced other formats. example, panasonic dmc fz-200 offers avchd progressive recording mode (50fps/60fps acquisition , stream rate) mp4 mode (25fps/30fps acquisition , stream rate).


avccam

formerly known avchd professional features, avccam name of professional avchd camcorders panasonic s broadcast division. of these professional features listed in panasonic advertising materials included 1/3-inch progressive 3ccd sensor, xlr microphone input, solid-state media , capability of recording @ maximum avchd bitrate - 24 mbit/s. aforementioned features not exclusive avccam. moreover, of these features ccd sensor technology have been dropped panasonic, while 24 mbit/s recording rate available rival manufacturers on consumer models.

nxcam name of sony s professional video lineup employing avchd format. nxcam camcorders offer 1080i, 1080p , 720p recording modes. unlike avccam, not nxcam camcorders offer film-like frame rates — 24p, 25p, 30p — in 720p mode.
