the oso s mission statement enrich life of community through, , foster public appreciation , interest in, symphonic music. oso activities such concert series, educational outreach activities, , mentorship program support mission statement.


almost of musicians , audience of oso drawn ottawa , local municipalities. oso musicians consist of professional musicians (including performers national arts centre orchestra), advanced university-level music students university of ottawa, , highly skilled , experienced local amateur musicians.


support oso comes province of ontario through ontario arts council, ontario trillium foundation, city of ottawa, canada council arts, university of ottawa, , private donors, foundations, major companies, , season sponsors.
