the galaxy had busy month in january, transfers. on january 10, club striker, , golden boot-finalist, edson buddle left galaxy sign second division german club, ingolstadt 04 through end of 2012–13 2. bundesliga season.

on january 9, 2010, rumors david beckham potentially ending 3 , half year mls career signing tottenham hotspur or going on loan premier league club ended. galaxy announced beckham training tottenham 2 weeks, before joining los angeles start of pre-season training. news made first time since 2008 beckham did not go on off-season loan europe.
