the route 238 corridor improvement project broke ground july 2010, expected completion date in 2013. include undergrounding of telephone wires, , extensive landscaping, bringing parks , improved traffic flow downtown region. one-way traffic loop sections of street, foothill boulevard , mission boulevard went effect march 15, 2013. foothill boulevard business district scheduled receive $2.85 million face-lift, partly through $1.1 million in loans, improving storefront facades , other amenities. new businesses opening include microdistillery operated buffalo bill s brewery.
