china resources building mix-used grade office, retail , hotel complex located @ harbour road, wan chai. built in 1983 , renovated in 2012. refurnished building installed new curtain wall double low e glazing , energy efficient external led lighting system indoor, largely reduces energy consumption. first certified renovation project achieve leed core & shell gold rating in hong kong.

located @ wedge-shaped waterfront reclaimed land west of yau ma tei, west kowloon cultural district area of 40 hectares, featuring cultural , recreational, public, commercial , residential uses. 23 hectare public park @ tip provides green open space city in similar fashion style hyde park or central park. rlp has worked in collaboration foster + partners local consultant produce winning conceptual master plan west kowloon cultural district, selected through international competition in april 2011.

bing thom architects , ronald lu & partners works west kowloon cultural district authority design centre preservation, development , promotion of important art form of chinese cultural heritage in hong kong. occupying prime site of 13,800 square metres @ eastern edge of district, centre contains 2,000 square metres of training , education facilities, 2 auditoria 1,100 , 400 seats , traditional tea house performances 200 seats. project scheduled commission in end of 2016.

zcb, joint project of ronald lu & partners , construction industry council , development bureau, first 0 carbon building in hong kong, built in 2012 on sheung yuet road, kowloon bay industrial area. costs hkd $240 million, covering total area of 14,700 square metres of land, comprising three-storey building , landscape area. houses 7 zones: indoor exhibition , education area, eco-home, eco-office, eco-cafe, multi-purpose hall, eco-plaza, outdoor exhibition areas , hong kong’s first urban native woodland. 90% of site area covers plants, served recreational use, 60% of planted local vegetation.

in light of 3/3/4 education reform, new academic building of city university of hong kong built near main campus. consists of 20 storeys covering 20,500 square metres of site area of various facilities including classrooms, teaching , research laboratories, 600-seat theatre, multi-purpose room, canteen, administration offices , sky garden.
