from november 2009, facelift 2010 model year g sedan commenced production , went on sale in january 2010. changes include revised fascia fog lamps moved head light cluster more traditional separate housings, new grill sedan mimicking 1 coupe, new optional navigation system both coupe , sedan (revised optional system available 2008 , 2009 g37s). other minor changes included new interior colors, trim, , lighting design dash , center display. several items options on 2008 , 2009 models became standard on 2010 g37s.


in march 2010 comparison test car , driver, infiniti g37 convertible came in third place out of 4 cars in convertible comparison behind bmw 328i , audi a5.



2010 model year refresh brought in revised headlight shape, along grille more similar of coupe variant.


in july 2010, coupe , convertible received refresh 2011 model year.



2011-2012 infiniti g25

infiniti debuted g25 sedan @ 2010 paris auto show. g25 powered 2.5 l v6 vq25hr producing 218 hp (163 kw) , 187 lb·ft (254 n·m) of torque. in motor trend 2012 comparison infiniti accelerated 0-60 in 7.5 seconds, on 2 seconds slower bigger brother, g37. g25 s jdm relative, nissan skyline 250 gt sedan features same engine, had been on sale several years already.


priced lower g37, g25 aimed compete entry-level luxury rivals such lexus is250, audi a4 , bmw 328i. compared g37, other smaller engine , fewer options (no six-speed manual transmission available, no navigation, no premium or technology packages in u.s. market), g25 otherwise identical , features choice of rear-wheel drive or attesa all-wheel drive.

in july 2010 infiniti released new performance division, infiniti performance line (ipl). debut ipl offering g37 coupe 2011 model year, , later g37 convertible. ipl models featured retuned engine producing 348 hp (260 kw) , 276 tq. performance improvements included redesigned exhaust system, sportier suspension tuning, more direct steering feel. design changes made exterior including more aggressive front/rear bumpers , sideskirts, sportier 19 inch alloy wheels, , larger exhaust tips. inside, g37 ipl has red monaco leather seats. ipl g37 coupe , convertible available in 2 colours; graphite shadow gray metallic , malbec black. regular models, g37 ipl renamed q60 ipl beginning 2014 model year.
