in february 2012, it, freaks , separations (the albums released fire records) re-issued. these editions came bonus tracks, including death goes disco , dogs everywhere , sink or swim .


in april 2012, in interview shortlist magazine, cocker said working on ideas new pulp songs.


pulp announced in july 2012 playing one-off concert in hometown of sheffield in december year, @ 13,500 capacity motorpoint arena.


cocker stated in interview q in november 2012 band has no plans whatsoever release new material, , cruising off sunset @ end of year, signalling possible end reunion.


on 25 december 2012, pulp made unreleased track, after , available download individuals had attended sheffield concert, , subsequently released general public on 28 january 2013 via digital download. song had existed in demo form. last performance promote song on jonathan ross show on 9 february 2013. remixed version of after soulwax later went on used in 2013 video game grand theft auto v track on ingame radio station, soulwax fm.


in may 2015 music heritage plaque unveiled @ venue of band s first gig, leadmill, sheffield. band members jarvis cocker, nick banks, steve mackey, candida doyle , mark webber present @ ceremony.
