the 40th annual conference of international society pediatric , adolescent diabetes, ispad 2014, take place september 3–6, 2014, in toronto, canada. in last 4 years ispad annual conference has been held in gothenburg (2013), istanbul (2012), miami (2011), , buenos aires (2010).

travel grants

ispad supports attendance @ annual conferences through awarding of travel grants. grants awarded either individuals based on quality or individuals non-high-income countries ‘developing world initiative travel grants’.

post-graduate courses

ispad supports post-graduate courses , workshops organized members worldwide on basis these members organize courses , raise of funding. recent venues have included jamaica, romania, jordan , peru.

fellowships

ispad awards 2 fellowships:

the visiting research fellowship ispad members below age 40 designed cover expenses six-month (or longer) visit in ispad members centre , can applied ispad members wish study or carry out diabetes-related research @ recognized centre of excellence.
the alan drash clinical fellowship six-week clinical fellowship offered ispad members below 45 years of age can study aspect of diabetes important them. applicants required demonstrate suitability , have letter of support institution intend visit. report must submitted ispad steering committee within 1 year after fellowship.
