interior

the interior of church not extravagant, colourful. main altar, has elegant decor, dedicated mother mary. there 2 other intricately carved, gold plated , decorated altars, 1 each on either side of main altar. 1 left of jesus s crucifixion, , 1 right of our lady of rosary. these 2 altars flanked marble statues of st peter , st paul.


on festive occasions, wooden structural elements, form part of vaulted ceiling above altars, festooned twines of blue , white flowers, indication of external colour scheme of church.


there chapel of st. francis xavier, located in south transept right side of main altar; statues in chapel enclosed in glass case.
