the yardage of lake course 7,060 yards new championship tees, course rating of 75.7 , slope rating of 143. next set of tees forward, course measures 6,529 yards, , has course rating of 72.3 , slope rating of 132. next set of tees forward, course measures 6,235 yards, , has course rating of 70.9 , slope rating of 129. front tees, course measures 5,593 yards, , has course rating of 68.6 , slope rating of 122.


the lake course lengthened prepare 2007 u.s. amateur , 2012 u.s. open architect bill love. included in improvements bill love new tees have added significant length 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 9th, 12th, 13th , 16th holes. in addition, drastic changes made par-4 seventh , par-3 eighth holes part of greens replacement project. new two-tiered green @ seventh replaces old three-level green constructed in 1970s. green located approximately 20 yards behind old one. dramatic alterations made @ par-3 8th. short uphill pitch, new hole has been built teeing area , right of original, changing angle of approach , pushing length of hole 200 yards. new green has been built @ par-3 15th. controversial 18th green has been changed further reintroduce, in more playable manner, slope removed while @ same time creating more diversity in pin placements finishing hole. new 7th , 8th holes opened play in may 2009.
