after spells bk skjold , kb, zohore joined youth system @ copenhagen, being promoted under-19 squad @ age of 15 in 2009. joined first-team s training camp in marbella, spain, on 2 february 2010 thobias skovgaard. made professional debut club on 7 march 2010, @ age of 16 years , 35 days old, becoming youngest player ever make debut in danish superliga after replacing césar santin in 73rd minute during 5–0 victory against agf. however, match appearance first-team during 2009–10 season.

on 20 october 2010, zohore made first uefa champions league appearance copenhagen, playing against fc barcelona @ camp nou. 16-year-old striker replaced césar santin in 74th minute of game, becoming 1 of youngest players ever play in champion s league. ten days later, scored first senior goal fc copenhagen in danish superliga against lyngby boldklub. second youngest goalscorer ever in danish superliga, after mads beierholm.

zohore attracted attention numerous clubs around europe, spending time on trial @ chelsea, being approached chelsea player didier drogba after 2 sides met in champions league fixture, , inter milan. performances saw him described 1 of top striking prospects anywhere in world .

fiorentina & loan spells

on 31 january 2012, fc copenhagen announced zohore had signed italian side acf fiorentina on 18th birthday fee in region of £1 million. given shirt no. 33. however, zohore never featured first team, later stating young cope strong competition places.

on 8 august 2013, brøndby if, managed zohore s former coach @ danish youth levels thomas frank, announced had agreed deal acf fiorentina sign zohore on season-long loan option buy @ end of year between €2.2 , €2.3 million. brøndby paid loan fee of €100,000 secure move, beating off competition german side hannover 96, transfer collapsed close completion brøndby unaware of need pay zohore s wages during loan spell loan completed. brøndby hopeful of completing transfer on permanent basis unable meet fiorentina s valuation.

2015–16

on final day of winter transfer window in january 2016, zohore joined championship side cardiff city on loan belgian side k.v. kortrijk, club owned cardiff chairman vincent tan, signed him same day ob fee reported around £1 million. @ time, cardiff under transfer ban following breach of financial fair play rules , banned signing players on permanent contracts, although club sources stated deal not made circumvent transfer ban , moving cardiff boost experience . made debut on 6 february in goalless draw against milton keynes dons, coming on substitute in place of sammy ameobi. featured in final months of 2015–16 season substitute, scoring first goal club on 19 april 2016 during 2–1 defeat against brentford. rewarded first start club in following match, 2–1 victory on bolton wanderers, during scored cardiff s opening goal. finished loan spell having made 12 appearances, scoring twice.
